Sierra Gunn, host of Sex on a Wednesday Afternoon, is an award-winning marketing and public relations consultant and special advisor to Nokomis Research Inc.

Ms. Gunn has created and directed campaigns for many major pharmaceutical firms but her main focus is on social and cause marketing, an area to which she has committed extensive time and effort. As a specialist in marketing and communications planning for the public and non-profit sectors, Ms. Gunn has developed and implemented programs for numerous associations, charities, and health care organizations – including inner city family practice and women’s health clinics, detox units, and AIDS hospices. It was her involvement in the women’s health and fertility clinics that generated her initial interest in the challenges of sexual dysfunction.

Ms. Gunn, a former college teacher, has lectured extensively on the role of communications in the health care field. She is also an adept writer. Her three children’s books combine magic and rhyme to help educate her young heroes – and their audience -- to the world of endangered species. Ms. Gunn’s first full-length novel, A Bitter Darkness, is due out next year.
